Desde o in\u00edcio, o objetivo era criar um som agressivo e direto, combinando elementos do Speed Metal e do Black Metal, com influ\u00eancias claras de bandas cl\u00e1ssicas como <strong>Venom<\/strong>, <strong>Mot\u00f6rhead<\/strong>, <strong>Bulldozer<\/strong>, <strong>Sodom<\/strong> e <strong>Warfare<\/strong>. Com o tempo, o projeto evoluiu e consolidou-se, realizando turn\u00eas europeias e construindo uma discografia longa e s\u00f3lida, com cinco \u00e1lbuns e diversos EPs e splits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O quinto \u00e1lbum, <strong><em>\u201cCry of Extinction\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, lan\u00e7ado em mar\u00e7o pelo selo <strong>Hells Headbangers<\/strong>, foi produzido por <strong>Gabriel \u201cBitch H\u00fcnter\u201d<\/strong>, e traz tudo aquilo que o <strong>Whipstriker<\/strong> vem apresentando nestes quase vinte anos. Um som r\u00e1pido, sujo e venom\u00e2niaco. Apesar da longa espera de sete anos entre <strong><em>\u201cMerciless Artillery\u201d<\/em><\/strong> (2018) e <strong><em>\u201cCry of Extinction\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, este hiato mostra-se impercept\u00edvel, compensado com vocais que remetem a <strong>Cronos<\/strong>, riffs velozes e um ataque constante de d-beat e solos envenenados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Confira a faixa-t\u00edtulo:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"WHIPSTRIKER &quot;Cry of Extinction&quot; (single 2025)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZQha-vwxZuo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Dentre as faixas, <strong><em>&#8220;Satan&#8217;s Vengeance&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> se sobressai pela participa\u00e7\u00e3o especial de <strong>Daniel \u201cAvenger\u201d<\/strong> nos vocais, trazendo uma reinterpreta\u00e7\u00e3o matadora da m\u00fasica original do <strong>Destruction<\/strong>. Os riffs de <strong><em>\u201cRush of Fury\u201d<\/em><\/strong> s\u00e3o empolgantes, e me lembraram um pouco os alem\u00e3es do <strong>Iron Angel.<\/strong> Outro destaque \u00e9 a m\u00fasica de encerramento, <strong><em>&#8220;Military Scum&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>, uma jornada \u00e9pica de dez minutos, que finaliza o \u00e1lbum com chave de ouro. No geral, <strong>Victor<\/strong> mant\u00e9m a receita conhecida: produ\u00e7\u00e3o suja, riffs inspirados em <strong>Venom<\/strong> e <strong>Slayer<\/strong>, vocais rasgados e velocidade quase ininterrupta. No fim, fica claro que <strong>Victor, <\/strong>tanto no <strong>Whipstriker<\/strong> quanto em seus outros projetos, n\u00e3o est\u00e1 preocupado em reinventar a roda.
