O baterista Joey Jordison anunciou nesta quinta-feira (05\/05) a sua mais nova banda, chamada VIMIC. Al\u00e9m do ex-Slipknot, o grupo conta com a presen\u00e7a do vocalista Kalen Chase Musmecci, que excursionou com o Korn como backing vocal e percussionista; e com os parceiros do Jordison na banda Scar The Martyr: Jed Simon (guitarra), Kyle Konkiel (baixo) e Matthew Tarach (teclados).<\/p>\n

VIMIC concluiu recentemente os trabalhos para seu primeiro \u00e1lbum, “Open Your Omen”, com o produtor Kato Khandwala. O disco ser\u00e1 lan\u00e7ado ainda este ano pela Roadrunner Records.<\/p>\n

Uma das primeiras m\u00fasicas da VIMIC, intitulada “Simple Skeletons”, estreou hoje mais cedo no SiriusXM Liquid Metal e pode ser conferida acessando aqui:<\/p>\n

De acordo com Jordison, VIMIC nasceu a partir de um projeto de sua banda anterior, Scar The Martyr. Ap\u00f3s sua sa\u00edda do Slipknot, o baterista levou algum tempo para pensar sobre o que ele queria fazer com sua carreira musical adiante.<\/p>\n
