Claro que aqui voc\u00ea ter\u00e1 aquela sonoridade que marcou a banda at\u00e9 hoje, com influ\u00eancias de Sabbath, etc e tal, mas por algum motivo, os caras resolveram que seria legal sair de sua zona de conforto em algumas faixas aqui presentes. Por mais que a id\u00e9ia seja absolutamente louv\u00e1vel, esses momentos acabaram n\u00e3o funcionando l\u00e1 muito bem, puxando o resultado final um pouco para baixo e tirando o brilho do trabalho. Os caras se enveredam pelos caminhos do Progressive Death Metal, com alguns toques bem interessantes de Black e riffs tipicamente Thrash, o que acaba gerando boa dose de melodia. Ainda sim \u00e9 uma m\u00fasica pesada, agressiva, t\u00e9cnica e bem interessante, de uma banda que pode gerar belos frutos em seus pr\u00f3ximos trabalhos. Bem, se \u00e9 eu n\u00e3o sei, mas que unindo elementos tradicionais do estilo, com Post Black, Folk e Atmospheric, al\u00e9m de vocais tanto agressivos como mel\u00f3dicos, ela conseguiu gerar uma m\u00fasica no m\u00ednimo instigante, isso \u00e9 ineg\u00e1vel. Problemas? Falta de um pouco mais de varia\u00e7\u00e3o e principalmente, aquela m\u00fasica marcante, que gruda na sua mem\u00f3ria por dias a fio, j\u00e1 que as que est\u00e3o aqui presentes, apesar de boas, dificilmente voc\u00ea ter\u00e1 lembran\u00e7as delas ao final do dia. Tudo aqui remete aos prim\u00f3rdios do estilo e os caras levam isso t\u00e3o a s\u00e9rio que Separation (assim como as demos anteriores) est\u00e1 sendo lan\u00e7ado apenas em fita cassete. Sim prezado leitor, fitas cassete ainda existem. E olha, como canta o cara hein! Seu timbre chega a remeter ao lend\u00e1rio Dio em alguns momentos, o que n\u00e3o \u00e9 pouca coisa. Musicalmente, esse \u00e9 disparado o melhor trabalho do Praying Mantis desde A Cry for the New world (93) e v\u00eam recheado de grandes melodias, \u00f3timas guitarras g\u00eameas, teclados encaixados perfeitamente e sem exageros, refr\u00e3es grudentos e bom peso. Uma verdadeira aula de Hard Mel\u00f3dico, nesse que \u00e9 certamente o melhor trabalho do estilo que escutei em 2015. Curte boa m\u00fasica?
